Aluminium Secondary Glazing
The range of secondary glazing offered by Trade Windows is supplied fully assembled and comprises an aluminium outer frame joined to a hardwood surround which allows for a neat, unobtrusive installation, either face fixed or reveal fixed.
Vertical sliders, with balance, is the most complex type of secondary glazing system. Pretensioned spiral springs conrol the motion of the sash. Tilt in versions can pivoted through almost 180 degrees.
Lift outs, offering an economical and cost effective solution, its most common application is where limited access to the primary window is required, for example a window which has been installed with the sole object of providing light into a room. It is the most basic form of secondary glazing and as its name implies, it simply lifts out of the secured channel.
Horizontal sliders, is undoubttedly the most frequently used type of secondary glazing, generally available in two, three, four pannelled versions. Fitted with brass rollers ensuring the smoothest of sliding actions
Heritage Range, is the most versitile type of secondary glazing, ideally suited to large glazed areas with minimal sightlines. It can be either hung on butt hinges, or concealed stays, and is secured by multipoint locking system. Also available as a tilt and turn option.
